    Super Fast Broadband by BT

    By racer48 | March 8, 2009

We have already seen Virgin Media announce their fibre optic broadband and it is definatley something that all internet providers should be thinking of.As the internet expands its becomes more and more about media and large files being displayed to you. so to ultimatley view a website at its best you need to have good connection speeds.

If we think about ten years back and consider that we were all using dial up connections, if we were currently still using it then we probably could not view things such as YouTube videos and download files. But currently broadband does let us do all this and more at good speeds.

BT on the other hand though are now thinking about the future and have announced that they will be proceeding to install next generation fibre optic cables throughout the UK. Ofcom has announced that it will not regulate BT’s pricing for next-generation broadband to enable the telecoms giant to make the necessary investment in fibre-optic cabling.

I do think that when this does finally get rolled out, it will be quite a hefty monthly price. But I definitely do feel that this is a very positive mood by BT, to move the UK forwards we have to have super fast speeds to access things, it will not only make  personal navigation easier but it will make life a whole lot easier for small and large businesses.Although the fibre cables will cost a lot of money to I am certain that the sale of Super fast broadband will explode and they will make it back.

For great IP Telephony, Fax to Email Services and phone numbers
