Secret MLM Tip – Your Company Website Is A Waste Of Space!

I’ve got a Secret MLM Tip for you!! Do you want to know why no-one visits your company replicated website? I was really excited when my MLM started using websites for each distributor!. We expected it to boost our home business, because everyone makes lots of money online dont they? Surely people would find our website and become customers when they saw what we had. We even paid for a recruiting website ourselves, which we thought may get us a trickle of interested leads.
We certainly never thought about driving any traffic to our site! I suppose we thought that people would accidentally find our site and be so interested they could not help themselves but to sign up or buy products! Obviously we were giving our several hundred cards a week too, with the details of our sites on, so we were sure we would have results. We certainly had results. Yes, at least 5 leads filled in their details on our site. Unfortunately three of them were spam, as we now call it; idiots we called them at the time. And the other two were unqualified people who thought we were in the ‘get rich quick’ brigade!
Now we know the secret MLM tip! Its funny to think back to that time, when we know so much more about the internet nowadays. Really, we had no idea! Today, I consider it amusing that MLM companies still pass out these lovely little replicated websites to their distributors. Of course, this is just a way of restricting what the website says. Obviously they do not want to be taken to court for their distributors over-zealous descriptions of their products benefits!
So my question to all you who are in MLM now is this. Are you aware that having a company website is useless? If you want to prospect online, you will need your own website or capture page. You see Google does not like replicated websites because they are all the same. You are never going to get click-throughs, because Google will never rank them high enough for them to be seen. Google likes webpages to have original content, and it likes it to change regularly. Company websites are stagnant. With no regularly updated content, they just do not rank highly.
So if you have come onto the internet to try to find prospects, your company replicated site is most definitely not going to hack it. There is alot to learn, including attracting people to you, getting hold of their details, showing them how valuable you are and enrolling them into your business. All in all, you need a system to follow, unless you have a mentor who will show you it all, step by step. Because believe me, there is a pretty steep learning curve. But it is well worth the effort, because it knocks offline prospecting into touch!
