Just starting out with internet marketing? Do you lack the resources to stand a chance in striking a deal big time JV partners? lacking the budget for PPC campaigns?
Don’t fret just yet!
Read up as I discuss 5 free but highly effective methods you can utilize to market your business in the World Wide Web.
1. Marketing with articles. Create an article relevant to the subject matter of your online undertaking. See to it that this article conveys something valuable. Enroll the article to the big article directories on the web, most importantly www.ezinearticles.com, www.goarticles.com and www.isnare.com. Don’t forget to attach a resource box, which should mention informative facts about yourself or your business, as well as the URL of your website. Do this at least thrice every week. In due time, you will generate direct traffic composed of the people you’ve won over with your articles, as well as indirect traffic because of a higher SERP position for relevant queries gained via the hundreds back links you are most definite to win per article.
2. Exchanging links. This is similar to you scratching a partner’s back, and him doing the same for you. Other online entrepreneurs are also searching for advertising mileage for their enterprises. Partner up with them by promising to publish their link on your web pages if they will reciprocate your kind deed.
3. Distributing press releases. Countless real world and virtual world publications are always searching for interesting items to republish. They read newswires for such pieces. You can craft a hype-free, noteworthy news item about your online business. You may state the launch of your enterprise, minus the hype, of course. You may announce the upload of your web pages. You may announce the launch of a new brand, without the slightest tinge of a sales pitch. Prepare a press release, and submit the same to online newswires like www.prweb.com, and in just a few hours, offline and online publications will be picking it up, feeding fantastic traffic to your website.
4. Use and abuse the power of user-driven websites. The beauty of Web 2.0 websites is that the users themselves are empowered to determine what’s hot and what’s not. As a savvy online marketer, you can exploit this to your advantage by specifically targeting social news networks (Digg.com, Reddit.com, Propeller.com), social networking websites (MySpace.com,. FaceBook.com), and social bookmarking services (StumbleUpon.com) and converting them into powerful vehicles for your marketing adventures. Indeed, Web 2.0 websites are free to turn into marketing machines.
5. Search engine optimization. Eight out of ten visitors that you will be able to get for your website will come from the search engines. And search engine traffic is free, if you can prepare your web pages to attract the attention of those search engine spiders

All of those items are good and can be done free but you really need to have a budget for a few things like a quality autoresponder, a domain and a web host.
All can be had for less than $50 initially and about $30 a month in ongoing fees. Course if you promote those services as part if your business they quickly become free.
