Legitimate Online Business Proving Hard For The Newcomer

Getting a legitimate online business started should be easy enough. Build it and they will come or at least that’s what they used to say.
Today though the internet is a very competitive place and if you have been told otherwise you have been seriously misinformed. To have a successful legitimate online business you will need at the least a basic understanding of keyword research, site creation, online marketing and SEO.
All these skills can be learnt as you go along but here’s an important fact for you to consider:
97% of people attempting to make money online will not make it into their second year.
This is because of the steep learning curve and the cost of all the tools, courses and ebooks that are constantly pushed as the “can’t do without weapon” for the new online business hopeful.
I and many others have each paid out many 100′s of dollars on all these “must have tools” that never deliver on their promises and in the end you just cut your losses, realizing that grasping everything required to allow you to compete with the pro’s is going to take several years rather than the few months the guru’s tell us.
